Iran says it is ready to strike first!

(Tehran) While the world fiddles over the progress made by Iran and its nuclear chemistry set, the Iranians have decided to take the fight to each and every country in the region (as well as the entire Western world) by openly declaring that it will strike first if it feels threatened.

I wonder why the mad mullahs have decided to come out with this statement. Could it be that any retaliation for any Iranian attack would allow Iran to state that due to everybody looking funny at them, they are going to go ahead and build a nuclear warhead? Could it be that they already have one (makes you wonder what their huge supply ship is currently unloading in Syria) and just need an excuse in which to attack Israel or the US? Personally, I don't think Iran is stupid enough to attack either of those countries as it knows that it would simply cease to exist. (But then, would Obama fight back?)

No, Iran has other plans. I mean look at the statement it made the other day about shutting off all its oil exports to the UK and France. Straight away the markets went into overdrive and crude reached a new peak. But here's where it gets silly. The UK stopped importing Iranian oil six months ago, and from January to June 2011 the UK received less than 1% of its oil from Iran. France gets around 2% of its oil from Iran. Yet the markets decided to raise prices and make a quick killing.
